You Know You Live In a Desert When..........

Today, we met Derek at the mall for lunch and they had the huge display for Santa. There were big bears that were dancing in some fake snow. Ava ran up to Derek and said dad, look, bubbles, bath. She thought that the bears were playing in the bubbles while taking a bath. She has no idea what snow is. We thought that it was pretty cute.

I personally think those singing bears are a little creepy. Did you get a $20 picture with Santa?

What I am finding funny about the desert is the fully decorated christmas trees in the front yard, you'd never find that in an area of snow and bad weather!
Well? Did you wait in a 2 hour line for a picture with Santa? We went to the mall last week, Darin and I are not crowd people...you won't catch us at Disneyland, and we saw that line. Luckily the kids remember and they didn't want to stand in it either!

No, we didn't wait in line. We just let her look. Megan, have you taken your kids to Ethel M.'s? I think I will take them there. Is that how much the pictures are?? Larisa, Derek waited in line for 2 1/2 hours last year with the kids at Arrowhead mall. It was crazy. How is Denver?

Hey Kristine - don't you have a camera? THat's even cheaper if you can find a Santa around town! Are you going to see snow at all this season? We don't have much here yet!
