Body Worlds

I forgot to mention that last weekend Derek and I got to go to the Body Worlds exhibit at the Arizona Science center in downtown Phoenix. It was so cool. It makes you appreciate your bodies and what miracles they are. It was also fun to hear future Dr. Crouch tell me about all of the parts and their functions. He has learned so much just in the last year. He is going to be an awesome doctor!! Here are just a few photos.

This man is holding all of his skin. Look how big this organ is that we never even think about.

This shows all of the blood vessels in the body and he is holding onto a head so that you can see all of them that are in there.

Double Digits-Jerrod Turns 10!

Trick Candles!!!

This weekend was busy as usual. On Friday, Jerrod and Derek went to the Father and Sons campout at Lynx Lake near Prescott. They fished, had a water gun fight, and ate New York steaks with Jerrod's friend Austin and his Dad. Saturday when the boys got home we had an early birthday celebration for Jerrod and then we took the kids to Peter Piper Pizza to get some tokens for them to play games and then we went to Red Robin for burgers. We made sure that all the waitresses sang to him and he was happy because he got a free sundae.

We are so excited to come to Reno and Elko to see everyone. Derek will be finished with finals on Wednesday and then we will hit the road on Thursday morning. Can't wait to see everyone.

Ava at the Park

Here are just a few pictures of Ava at the park today.

Ginger's Play Date at the Dog Park

Ok, it's official. I am now one of those pet owners who act like their pet is one of their children. I guess I can't make fun of Mom and Dad for how they talk about Sammy or Papa and Grandma for their stories about Baby. I am now one of them. We took Ginger to the Dog Park for her first play date with other dogs. She did so good so I couldn't resist snapping some pictures of her to document it. Ava had just as much fun as Ginger did. She loved the doggy drinking fountain and the ramps and equipment they had there. It was a lot of fun.

Derek found out that he has been put on the alternate list for medical school here so it looks as if we are going to be in Las Vegas. We are just going to plan on a move there at the end of July and if anything changes here and a spot opens up then we will have to make a decision.
