First Day of School

Monday the kids went back to school. Jerrod started 7th grade, Allison started 4th grade and Emma started 3rd grade. They are getting so big.

51s Game

On Monday night we took the family to see the Las Vegas 51s take on the Albuquerque Isotopes . We had a good time but we were reminded that Ava cannot hold still for anything and Emma cannot stop talking even when offered $5. :)

Ava turns 4

Last week was Ava's 4th birthday. She wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese for her party so we took her on Saturday. We had a lot of fun and between Uncle Jason and the kids we went through a ton of tokens!! Thanks to everyone who remembered her on her special day with phone calls and cards. She was so excited to tell everyone about her day.

On Saturday I met some friends at a park to take their family picture so I decided to bring my kids along and try to get a good one of them. It was really hard to get them to cooperate so I didn't get my perfect shot but I got a few cute ones.

Last Day of School and Straight As

Allison and Emma had their last day of school on Friday and they got to dress Hawaiian style. They both got straight As again and were recognized at an assembly. After the assembly Allison's class had a fish fry which is why her teacher is in a fish outfit. In two weeks they go back and will be official 4th and 3rd graders!

Last week Ira treated us to a bbq at his pool before he took off for Costa Rica. The kids had a great time swimming. I only got a couple of pics but thought Ava and Jerrod had great form :)

Crouch Family Reunion

We had a great time at the Crouch reunion in Carson City. Steve and Kolene were such awesome hosts! On Friday we were able to go to Sand Harbor at Lake Tahoe and then come back for a dinner with all the family followed by a mean marshmallow gun war. Saturday, we went back up to the Lake for a day at the beach. We went to a place on the South shore called Camp Richardson. Papa rented a paddle boat for the kids and we played beach volleyball. Sunday we went into Reno really quick and drove around our old stomping grounds, showed the kids the temple and stopped in to see the Mendiolas for a few minutes. On our way out of town we saw the new Scheels outdoor superstore and decided to take a quick peek. They had a ferris wheel so we treated the kids to a ride before we headed out. The weekend went way too fast. It was so great to see so many family members we haven't seen in years. Can't wait for the next one!
