Sunday night the Cochran family came to see us while they are out west. We miss them so much. It was so good to see them. We haven't seen them since JD graduated from UNR medical school 2 years ago! Who knows, maybe we'll end up in Texas with them for residency.
Derek, JD and Max
On Monday, we got to see the Green Family who moved to Utah a few months ago. We let the girls skip school and went to swim with them at the South Point. After Derek got out of surgery for the day we all headed down to St. George to spend more time with the Cochran Family. We picked up some Cafe Rio and headed to the temple to have a picnic.
After our picnic we headed back to Hayley's Mom's condo and went swimming and Derek did some adjustments on some willing patients. We all had a lot of fun and didn't want to leave!
On Friday I got to see another good friend from Reno!! Stephanie flew in to meet up with her husband Brian who was down for a work conference. After picking her up from the airport went to lunch at Cheesecake Factory and then came home to say hi to the kids and Derek. Derek cracked her neck and got her all adjusted and then she headed to meet up with Brian.
Later Friday night my friend Kiley and I went to see Il Divo in concert. Derek was more than willing to give up his ticket! We had a lot of fun. Although we were one of the youngest ones in the crowd we enjoyed the music and the people watching! There were a lot of passionate senior citizen fans there! These guys weren't that hard to look at either! Plus it was FREE!! Nothing to lose.
Saturday, we got up early to get Jerrod off to scout camp. He is near San Diego for an entire week! We are missing him already but I'm sure that he is having a great time.
Saturday night Derek and I got to go to the B52s concert at Pure nightclub inside Caesars Palace. It was so fun. We were so close to the stage and had a blast. Afterward we went up to the nightclub patio where they had a great view of the strip. It started to rain and after finishing our six dollar cokes we decided to go hang out with the Mendiolas. I am kicking myself for not getting a picture but we had a nice dinner with Brian and Stephanie at Noodles in the Bellagio. It was so great to see them.
